Spent part of the day with our knit group & was finally able to give this lovely person her 50th birthday gift. Recognize??? It's SPIRE!! My 2014 New Years project is finally done 2 years later and doesn't it look fantastic on Kelli?!
Looking forward to casting on Stonecrop with you all tomorrow! Have a wonderful evening...the fun begins tomorrow!
Happy New Year! Melissa
I can't believe you've gifted this to me! I don't think I've ever been given such a piece of art!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you'll ever know what this means to me ~ thank you just doesn't seem to cut it...
Like your friendship it's priceless to me.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of this look of sheer glee on your face. I'm so glad to gift it to you, sister....worth every dropped stitch I had to fix ;)

ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful gift and what a beautiful model! Happy birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. What a thoughtful gift; you wear it well, Kelli. Happy belated and enjoy the Stonecrop you guys. Wish I was joining you, and I even have the yarn. I'm still slogging through the Girasole and it would eat at me if I stared another big project. I'm soooo slow. Wish I was an accomplished knitter like you. Happy New Year, all.
