Imagine my surprise when cruising the Seattle Times online paper just now and stumbling on this photo taken today :
photo by Ken Lambert : Seattle Times |
That's my handsome hubby hard at work downtown this afternoon ~ brightening the city with holiday cheer.
And wearing a hand knit hat ~ made by yours truly :)
Today we both get five minutes of fame!
oh Melissa how sweet!! I love the photo and that he is sporting some nice knitwear :)
ReplyDeletethanks, Karen! the photo was all in shadow so I lightened it up as much as I could but this was the best I could do
Deleteat least you can see the skulls on his hat just a bit now...you couldn't really in the original
What a lovely surprise Melissa. I second Karen, that is a great looking hat!
ReplyDeletethanks, Tracey...I love your new haircut!!
DeleteThat's so cool
ReplyDeletewere the papers filled with Bella after the meet?
DeleteNo way! Now we have a moment of fame, because we know YOU. Seriously, that's just awesome. I'm going to think about him when I see those lights. We'll be going to Benaroya Hall in December, to hear Sarah sing in the Ensign Choir, so for sure we'll see how he helped brighten the city. Maybe I will take a selfie under one of the snowflake lights.
ReplyDeleteit's kind of like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon...
Deletethat makes Jason Kevin Bacon ~ heh :)
he decorated the pergola in Pioneer Square as well so if you see that, you should take a selfie there too
right now he's under the viaduct ~ city of Seattle is trying to pretty up the construction mess down there for the tourists so they're doing massive decorating under the elevated roadway along the waterfront...I'm anxious to see what it looks like (from how Jason explained it, it sounds really pretty)
Your hansome hubby, my handsome son.. Thanks for sharing as I saw a picture in the actual paper , but not of Jason and I would have never looked online,. By the way awesome hat. Hugs
ReplyDeletethanks ~ I agree on all counts
Deletehe is a handsome lad :)
