Well, if you have to make such a drastic detour, the Queen should make a showing. That's fantastic and, hopefully, not too frustrating for the itinerary. Hugs and happy traveling (and knitting).
You lucky girl... not many of us get to be in London and see the Queen. Safe travels. Hope you post some impressive yarn purchases when you return. I found the food in London to be ghastly. Would have starved if I hadn't found a McDonald's. Mind you -- it was not that edible either. Hope after all these years the food has improved.
