I'm so glad that you've picked up LOG again and now you're so close to the finish (you are, you are!!) ~ that border seems daunting but as the blanket starts coming off your needles, holy cow....momentum and done before you know it
can't WAIT to see it!! thanks for taking the time to post ~ I appreciate it and am always glad to see what you're up to, Will :)
maybe someday we'll get you to share some of your harp music :))))
It's Celebration dyed by Briar Rose Fibers - merino wool and bamboo, and it's definitely got a sheen to it. I'm a big fan of BRF - at Rhinebeck I almost immediately spent all my money in that booth (as planned).

As of Monday night, I've completed exactly half of the border! I'm trying to bang this one out!
DeleteIt's the blocking that seems daunting...this thing is gonna be huge!
daunting blocking ~ my bump in the road with Quill
Deletedone for a week (or more) but no surface big enough to block it on so it sits in a lump and waits :)
G...Willy, I sure like that yarn color. Look forward to seeing it finished/blocked and in it's glory.
ReplyDelete:) Yeah, me too!
DeleteYour almost there, I'm so excited! Your yarn is so lovely, wish I could touch it, what are you using ?
