Quiet in blogland ~ sorry. Just back from vacation ~ I knit a whole inch on a sock so slow going in the craft department. I've been reading a bunch and editing pictures from our trip. More on that some other day.
Feeling like it's been awhile since we've gotten together ~ should we plan something? Need to get out of my head for a few minutes and socialize. Think about it, ladies, and let's pick a date.
Miss Kelli ~ are we going to jam this year? None put up in 2014 and that's just not okay. Must remedy that in 2015.
Miss Carrie ~ I miss you! And I wouldn't be upset if you bring the Lil' Dude along. His Auntie Lis misses him tons.
Miss Trudy ~ Dozer says thanks for the stay at Grandma Camp. Thanks for watching him, although next time he's going to the beach with us. It's just wrong to leave the dog at home when there is sand to be played in.
Oh, and lastly...anyone interested in Stitch and Pitch this year? I could dig up the date and see if we could make it work. Just let me know.
Can you tell I'm feeling a bit stir crazy? Haha. I love you guys :)
edited to add: I'd be remiss in not mentioning today marks the anniversary of this tragic event. It's hard to forget since the memorial has stood beside our driveway for a year now, but today is especially tough as a constant stream of Paul's friends and family have been stopping and visiting the site. They say time heals all, but I have to wonder just how much time? I guess it's different for each individual but from what I'm seeing, a year is not long enough. I'm still having a tough time and I didn't know him.
Love all the photos Melissa, looks like you had a grand time!
ReplyDeletehey, Tracey :)
Deletethese photos are all old (within the last year or two) ~ vacation photos have yet to be posted
