the final chapter ~ Melissa

Jason is finally home from Arizona ~
It's not quite over yet ~ the final chapter is being written right at this moment and I should know how the story ends by the end of the day.
It's a crazy tale :) ~ can't wait to share it with you guys!
Until then ~ I have been doing a spot of knitting while I've been coming down from the joy of our Seahawks fantastic season, and slowly coming up from the disbelief about how it all ended...I love sports.  Win or lose.  It's a great ride all the same and the only 'reality tv' I watch.  I'm looking forward to next season and adding to my Hawks gear in anticipation of more great things to come :

I think this is my eighth pair of socks in six months ~ just a bit overambitious in joining Liesl over at Buckalooview for her monthly sock challenge!  As soon as this pair is done, I'll be finishing my Girasole so I'll have finished pictures soon!  Can't wait to share it ~ it's amazing!  I'm so impressed with everyone else and how far you guys are with your kal projects ~ keep the updates and photos coming!
Have a great weekend :)

  1. Lovely colors! And your speedy sock knitting skills have me impressed as always.

  2. Awesome socks! I was also shocked at the ending. I couldn't watch, it was too nerve-wracking, and Jon called me back in because the Hawks had the ball, and then he had to apologize...

  3. I'm with you on that one Melissa! Win or lose, it's all good and the 12s were spectacular!

  4. Can't wait to hear "the rest of the story". The game was great. I still feel bad about that final call; but, win or lose, it was a battle to the end (unlike last year). You'll be lookin' good sportin' those COLORS in the next battles! blessings ~ t.

  5. So glad Jason got to go with Dave, and the memories they added to their long friendship.

I'm knitting with this same yarn. Sandi had me pick her up some last Thursday, and I knew you had some so I HAD to have some I'm knitting Georgia Sleeves, I cast on the second sleeve last night.
    Your socks are great.
