don't understand the DROPS (?)

I'm skipping Day 15 and going on to Day 16 until I can get someone to explain to me the Drops in Day 15. I tried but my yarn does not afford me the luxury of much unknitting. I may have to try it out on practice yarn. I just don't quite get it. Day 14 is finished and I'll get the picture up tomorrow. Happy knitting, everyone!

  1. I haven't started it yet but looked at it last night ~ it makes sense BUT I haven't tried it yet....the 'ALT' which I assume means alternative option for the drop doesn't though? I can't see them in the photo that came with the pattern so I have no idea what they're even supposed to look like but I'll let you know what I think when I try one today!

  2. have you done a bobble before? that's all it sounds like to me ~ I don't think it means drop like literally dropping something but more like drop like a bump or bobble...just a thought

  3. The drops are pretty unappealing to look at. I think they look like the start of someone's dreadlocks. They don't lay nicely, just kind of hang there, but I'm done now. I guess you can't love every pattern.
