Rare Seattle snow this weekend brought some interesting critters to our neighborhood ~ I think they must love frozen apples!
Time to get the bird book out ~ I know the big guy is a woodpecker of some sort but the beauty in the bottom picture is a mystery! ~ Melissa

ReplyDeleteI don't recognize the little one on the bottom (but he's beautiful!) but the first two pictures are of a flicker. Love the flickers and have been trying to draw them to our yard this year. They make a very distinctive noise that is fun to hear! Lucky you!
