Carolyn and I had our photo shoot today, thanks to her hubby, Gordon. He's such a good sport. Streusels were a pleasure to knit. So much that C has started another. These were a KAL to celebrate "Girls in Sheep Clothing... and a few boys, too" 5-year anniversary -- back in July. We might be slow, be we're persistent.
(thanks, Gordon!!) ~ you two are so cute :)
ReplyDeletecan't tell you're best friends...you both look gorgeous!!!! thanks for sharing, girls!
Our pleasure. Was tempted to feather out the creases, etc., but what the heck we are grandma's now. We earned them! She is my best friend. Love her so much.
Deletenever feather ~ embrace it all :)
Deletethanks for celebrating with us!
Such lovely Streusels!!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteHaaa... thank YOU, Bonnie. It's a lovely design. :)
Deleteyou two are adorable and both of your shawls are stunning!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen. We sure enjoed this KAL.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ladies, or beautiful, ladies? I see no comma, so I'm taking it to mean we are beautiful. We just got back from a Krispe Kreme run to Issaquah -- Carolyn was still in her jammies. Would you believe we stick to one donut each? We used to eat two and sometimes three, but we quit doing that. (okay we also had a coke) Thnx Kelli
ReplyDeleteSo fun to have that special friend. You both look like you are having fun and you are beautiful. The knitting projects look very special too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Trudy. We've been friends for decades. Carolyn is the best! She's a can-do person and encouraging. A bit of knitting history: Neither of us were knitters. We might have tried it a few times, but we didn't really knit. Out of the blue C suggested we knit socks. I said, "No!" She bugged and nagged until I caved, and then I learned she started without me. LOL In a way that was good, because she learned the tricks/tips by the time I got started. We knitted those socks and haven't stopped since. Cool huh?
