Lady of The Sea ~ a post by the other Kelli

Was a simpler knit then you lace-shawl goers. Blocked at 87 inches. If you
haven't try Guernsey, like Ludlow, put it on the list.

Great use of long-time stash.  A fabulous knit.  I love the big cozy scarf-wrap.  From the sidelines I'll be watching and knitting something you can bet.  ~Kelli

    1. Thank you Julie. It was an unforeseen thought provoking gem for me. Can't wait to wear it out on a boat ride it'll be perfect body/neck warmer.

  2. Beautiful. Have to add this to my list. What yarn did you use, it looks slightly fluffy.

  3. Hi Maria and thanks, it's Rowan felted tweed Aran. 50% Merino, 25% Alpaca ( I think that's what you see as fluffy) 25% viscose. It's a hardy scarf~

    1. Penny, Penny, Penny... did you not receive the info on the K7000P1 catheter?

I will say my kitchen needed to most help, I did let the dishes go to where I felt guilty asking my 17 year old daughter to clean it. So while my scarf soaked for blocking I work on that.

      And thank you

    2. Oh, I was thinking maybe you were soaking the depends, but you were wise to use a cath. Impressive. I'll keep that in mind -- said no one ever! Has your 17 year old daughter caught the knitting bug? So far my girls do not seem interested. Their loss.
