Jason sent me this photo from his seat at today's championship game
'this game will force you to bare your soul'

possibly the worst and best game I've ever watched ~ windstorm last night, I haven't slept for about 40 hours, and I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight

we watched this game slip away right up until the final ticks and through sheer guts, belief, and love of team our boys pulled off a miraculous comeback ~ a game for the ages and one I won't forget

who cares what the rest of the nation thinks about you ~ you are unabashedly loved by this city

thanks for the ride Hawks...see you in Arizona!!!!

  1. That's so great he gets to go to these games. Does he loose his voice? So exciting. Russel was so overwhelmed, such a great guy. Loved the game. Go Hawks.

    1. he did lose his voice ~ he sounds like a frog today and he's sick as a dog but he's such a happy camper and plotting & planning how to get to Arizona for the game in two weeks :)

  2. I'm not a big football fan, but had to watch such a pivotal game for our home team. If you had said at halftime that they would win, I wouldn't have believed you. Such a rollercoaster of a game. I'm a believer - this team has guts and heart and I love the Seahawks. Can't wait to watch them kick the Patriots' butt in the Super Bowl!

    1. it's contagious, isn't it? it's even better when you've been a fan for years and years ~ we had our tickets all the way back in the Ken Behring ownership days in the Kingdome so we were there in the bad times as well, which makes these moments so much better and appreciated!

I really didn't get to nervous until the third quarter and then ..I had about given up and all hell broke loose... What a game. I'm with Andrea , can't wait to watch them kick the Patroits' butt in the Super Bowl. GO HAWKS
